Villeroy&Boch NewWaveCaffè | Dedicated line to the city of London

On the occasion of the 2012 London Olympics, Villeroy&Boch developed a new decorative scheme for the hit series NewWaveCaffè entitled “Cities of Europe”.


The service in the front row was about a decoration dedicated to the city of London, where there is plotted: the Big Ben, the historic phone booth, the London Eye, the bus with 2 floors and St. Paul.


In addition to London, the collection “Cities of Europe” includes decorations dedicated to the city of Rome, Paris and Berlin. With the new project Cities of Europe for the hit series NewWaveCaffè, Villeroy&Boch they developed a decoration characterized by typical facets of the various cities of the world. The design team will opt for coffee table design patterns so they can combine the mugs with the right table. The decorative projects have been created for the annual edition, making each item a collector’s item for true fans.



The decorations of the cups are decent, created as a graphic black and white, while the party matching saucers are characterized by full-surface designs in primary colors. The minimalist coloris transferred with mastery over coffee service invites which guests to an endless journey.


The range of the series NewWaveCaffè is available in white and colored version and includes a cup of espresso, a latte and two glasses of 0.25 l and 0.35 l combined with saucers party (all of them in Premium Porcelain)
